Lighthouse Project - Coordinator
START DATE: October 19, 2026
END DATE: March 24, 2027
Reports To: School Principal
Hours: Casual - approximately 6 hours/week (Mondays and Wednesdays from approximately 3:45 - 5:45 PM; plus 2 hours for program planning)
Hourly Salary: $25.00
Language Requirement: English
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises youth workers, participants, equipment and facilities relative to assigned activities.
- Organizes and conducts recreational activities.
- Acts as a resource to youth.
- Assists in training/development of youth leaders and volunteers.
- Prepares facility for leisure programs.
- Works evenings and weekends as required.
- Operates within the City of Winnipeg Community Services Department safety policies, guidelines and ensures all activities are conducted within these guidelines.
- Attends training/orientation sessions relevant to the position.
- Performs other related duties as required.
