6-8 Band & Jazz Band
Schedule is for all day on Day 2 & Day 5
BAND
The successful candidate should;
Hold a degree in Music Education
Be comfortable modelling basic playing technique on all band instruments
Have taken courses in jazz pedagogy
Be able to communicate with an ensemble using appropriate conducting gestures
Be familiar with concert and jazz band repertoire
Be familiar with the current Manitoba Music Curricula, K-8 and 9-12
Demonstrate willingness to collaborate with colleagues both in the school and across the division on projects and initiatives
